In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.1
To be gentle in voice and action.
My children are precious and sensitive.
2
To be really present for my children.
To stop what I am doing and be available.
3
To re-commit to 'Little Kids Time'.
(This is what my 5yr old calls it;)
To read, work and play with our under 5s so their needs are met.
4
To respect my teenagers as emerging young adults.
To ensure that they know how proud I am of them.
Please consider joining in and supporting one another in our vocation. I look forward to meeting you at Cherished Hearts for Home.
Erin,
ReplyDeleteI especialy love the last one. Is this in relation to what we talked about with older children relationships?

I think these are fairly typical needs for a large family of spread out ages.
