One weekend was spent digging out our well established hedge and transplanting the shrubs.

A long backbreaking job and there are still more shrubs to go.

The boys are still moving a few every afternoon when the day cools off a little.

The next weekend we pulled down the vines covering the carport.

I've earmarked the sailcloth to go over the sandpit.

Whilst work was going at a fast pace outside, Koala was inside cooking up a batch of scones, jam and cream.

Without the vines it all looks rather different.

We carefully dug out the vines with the hope that they will take to being transplanted nicely.

The spot chosen will be in front of our vision as we sit on 'the verandah.'
Sounds exciting Erin. A lot of hard work but well worth every bit. Hope your list covers everything you are going to need. At least you have some experience with owner building. Looking forward to seeing things as the work progresses.
